Shaker BarSchool gets a Kitemark

Shaker BarSchool is the first bartender training company to receive the kitemark from the industries guild for The International Bartenders Course.

Hospitality Guild Kitemark

This week we have received a kitemark for the International Bartenders Course: the school’s most popular course, which has had thousands of graduates from all over the globe since its launch in 2001. We are so proud to be recognised as best in our class as we have worked tirelessly for over a decade to get bartender training recognised and benchmarked within the industry.

So what does this mean for you? well it means that…

You know you are using a quality training provider
You know you will recieve the best standard of training available in this field
The kitemarked qualification from Shaker looks great on your CV
Your employer can see that you have attended an accredited training course which has been measured and evaulated on the standards of training it provides.
The Hospitality Guild was founded in 2012 to create a unified body to set standards for training and professional development, and to raise the profile of the hospitality industry throughout the UK. Kitemarking is a badge of honour from the Guild that recognises training programmes that maximise development opportunities to individuals, and which help to raise standards across the entire sector. In order to become kitemarked, a training provider must undergo a rigorous approval process to ensure that it meets the necessary requirements.

Shaker BarSchool is here to provide bartenders of all levels of experience, an interactive, real work environment training solution. We are constantly updating and developing, courses to meet the needs of the ever evolving industry.

Amit Sood, Head of Training at the Shaker BarSchool, said “We are thrilled to be recognised by the Hospitality Guild as being best in class for professional bartender training courses. The kitemark demonstrates to our students and employers that the quality of training they are receiving is second to none, and that we are passionate about developing and leading the way in bartender training.”

Not only is the International Bartender Course kitemarked, Shaker BarSchool itself is the official training provider for the United Kingdom Bartenders Guild (UKBG) and is an approved program provider for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) . With a rise in vocational training Shaker BarSchool is helping to forge recognised standards within an industry that has long been perceived as a stepping stone or part-time job, well no more; the professionally qualified bartender is the future of the industry!
