Glass: 10 oz Old Fashioned
Method: Build and Stir
1 Demerara Sugar Cube 5ml Sugar syrup
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
60ml Buffalo Trace Bourbon
Add the sugar, bitters and 10ml of bourbon to the glass. Stir for 1 minute with a barspoon to dissolve the sugar and blend the bitters and bourbon, then add 1 ice cube and stir for another minute. Continue the gradual dilution by adding 1oz bourbon and 2 more ice cubes and stir for 2 minutes. Add the remaining bourbon and 2 more ice cubes and stir for a further 2 minutes. Garnish with an orange peel.
